On April 7, 2026, SGS, an internationally recognized testing, inspection, and certification body, officially awarded YATONG Electromechanical its first SGS Certificate of Conformity (CoC) for Singapore fire safety products for special container components. This award not only signifies that YATONG Electromechanical's fire-rated container components meet Singapore's fire safety regulations and obtain the crucial compliance qualification to enter the Singapore and Southeast Asian markets, but it is also an important milestone for SGS in advancing its global services in fire safety fields such as intelligent computing centers and energy storage systems. Attendees at the certificate presentation ceremony included Mao Chenchen, Director of SGS Fire Technology Division, and Luo Deli, Founder of YATONG Electromechanical.
01 Focus on International Regulations: Crossing the Compliance Threshold
With the explosive growth of artificial intelligence and data centers, as well as the accelerating electrification of sectors such as transportation and construction, global electricity demand is continuously rising. In its "Power 2026" report, the International Energy Agency (IEA) points out that with the advent of the electric age, by 2030, the growth rate of global electricity demand will be at least 2.5 times that of the overall energy demand growth rate.

Combined with the functional characteristics of the finished products, fire resistance tests were completed in accordance with BS 476-20/21/22, and corresponding test reports were issued. All test samples met the 2-hour fire resistance requirement.
This time, SGS has awarded YATONG Electromechanical the first Singapore Fire Safety Product CoC certificate for special container components. This achievement verifies the leading advantages of YATONG Electromechanical's special containers in terms of quality level, manufacturing system, and fire safety performance, which possess a 2-hour fire resistance rating, further promoting the smooth entry of YATONG Electromechanical's special container products into the Singapore and Southeast Asian markets.
